"We ripped and burned the box that kept us in bondage..."

Words don't do this evening any justice, it was a feeling felt amongst the collective of women - a feeling of shedding the old skin and stepping into a garment made of their brightest aura.

Our biweekly sister circles were created to call in divine tribe and provide outlets for women to feel safe and seen, to be celebrated and protected, and to be supported through a lens of compassion.

We've witnessed women find their voice and speak up for the first time. We've experienced women take their power back and reclaim their sacred, sensual, stimulating energy.

The container is first purified with reiki energy, strong chanting, and high vibrational movement, it is then cleansed and smudged with hand-made blessing incense, and Inglenook yoga is prepared to receive.

Being in a room full of strangers can empower you to step out of your box and comfort zone and shift your thought process around what you've been holding on to for so long.

Secrets, shame, and guilt can tax the body, mind, and spirit. Shame and guilt are taxing on the nervous system especially.

We practiced an exercise that called for us to step into a box of bondage and judgment, and so much came up in the room...

Things from the past and present were revealed... We were allowed to exist beyond the judgment and shrunken place of projection. We existed as pure divine Shakti energy.

Watching each woman step out of the box was empowering. Watching her decide to take the power back was powerful. Watching her leap into the unknown was powerful. She was me and I was her.

Thank you ladies for showing up, sharing, and shifting the narrative around how we show up for one another at the Tea and Release.
